We can divide apologetics according to method: evidentialist (focused on evidence and indications) or presuppositionalist (focused on the work of the Holy Spirit in the human heart). In this way, we can further divide apologetics into areas. This brings a deeper understanding of the defense of the faith. Check it out:

1- Philosophical apologetics: deals with questions such as the existence of God and theodicies (solutions to the problem of evil).

2- Scientific apologetics: delves into the relationship between science and religion. It answers questions related to the origin of the universe, biological complexity, evolutionary theory, the compatibility of the Bible with scientific discoveries, etc.

3- Historical apologetics: while some study the Bible assuming it is true (which is not wrong), others like to know if what is in it is compatible with archaeology (which is also legitimate). The historicity of Christ's resurrection is still debated.

4- Cultural apologetics: seeks to demonstrate that Christians have good arguments and a reasonable view regarding current controversial topics such as abortion, euthanasia, freedom of expression, and others.

5- Sectarian apologetics: linked to the intellectual combat of sects and heresies of all kinds.
